Privacy notice

CourseBend Learning Ltd., of Vancouver, British Columbia, runs this site. This is everything the site collects today.

Please don’t type anything private into the demos. They send what you write to an AI provider, whose own terms apply to how it handles that data.

We don’t sell your information, and we only use your contact details to write to you about CourseBend. The site has no advertising or analytics trackers. It remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs, and pages load fonts from Google and, on one page, a code library from jsDelivr, which means those services see your IP address.

Students and minors. The early access form is meant for adults. The booth demo was designed for teenagers and may hold a student’s email and grade. If you’re a parent or a student and want that removed, write to us and we will.

Your choices. To see, correct or remove what we hold about you, write to hello@coursebend.com.

Terms of use

This site is for learning about CourseBend. By using it, you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse the demos, for example by trying to overload them or get them to produce harmful content.

AI demos are sketches. The text is written live by AI and can be wrong. The standards are quoted from published curriculum, but nothing here is educational, academic or professional advice, and nothing here changes a student’s requirements or grades.

Ownership. The CourseBend name, mark, text and design belong to CourseBend Learning Ltd. Please ask before reusing them. Published curriculum belongs to its publishers.

No guarantees. The site is provided as it is, and we don’t guarantee any particular result for any student.

These terms may change as we grow, and we’ll update the date above when they do. British Columbia law applies.

Our commitments

In plain language: what holds today, and what we’re building into the product.

✓ Holds today
  • We don’t sell your information.
  • We stand behind what we publish, and we cite our sources.
  • We cite where standards come from, and we never write requirements.
  • We name who handles your data on this page.
→ What we’re building toward
  • CourseBend can’t read a student’s personal chats. This is the commitment, and we’re engineering our first version around it. Academic observations stay readable so the record can work.
  • Parents decide where the privacy line sits until their child turns 18.
  • Teachers see progress and friction, never personal content.
  • MalachAI is augmentive and clear that it’s AI. It never does a student’s thinking, and its checks never become a grade.
  • No streak guilt, no punishment for breaks, no compulsion loops.
