The Road

Learning that doesn’t stop at graduation.

High school is where we’re starting because it’s where the required road is narrowest. But nobody stops being curious at graduation. A student who starts at 14 could carry their record of what they’ve learned, and how they learn it, into university, apprenticeships, work and beyond.

Where we’re headed. We’re building high school first. This is where the road goes from there.

Three stages

CourseBend
Now · Being built

Your passion is the curriculum.

Grades 9–12. The courses you already have to take, bent through what you love, with one record that remembers you. First pilot in the new year.

How it works
CourseBend College
Next

More challenge, less scaffolding.

Students choose their own courses here. The work gets harder, the support steps back, and what they built in high school comes with them.

CourseBend Beyond
Later

A record that keeps working.

Apprenticeships, work and whatever comes after. As AI reshapes work, job preparation alone can’t be the purpose of learning. Knowing what you care about, and how you learn, is what lasts.

What travels

The one thing that carries through: your story.

Grades stay with the school. What comes with you is the record of what you loved, what you proved, and how the two connected. It’s meant to be a record you can carry into a university, an apprenticeship or a first job, on your terms.

In development

Nobody falls in love with a subject alone.

The moment a student finds out someone else cares about the same strange thing is one of the best moments in school. We want to make room for that: students who share an obsession, parents comparing notes, teachers trading what worked. For students, that’s Community AI: CourseBend finds others who share their interests, so they can brainstorm and build together.

We’re designing it with the care teenagers deserve. A student’s record stays that student’s, and nothing gets shared between students without clear consent from the people responsible for them.
